Why should I buy a localisation system for my company's vehicles?

The reason for investing in any product is because it can provide value for your company, and a localisation system is useful because it allows full-time monitoring of your vehicles. You will know where they are, their speed, the number of kilometres they have travelled, and their stopping and idling times, along with many other parameters. This monitoring increases the amount of information available for decision-making, thereby improving productivity and providing savings on costs.

Why choose MobileFleet as your fleet monitoring and optimisation system?

  • It has the best price-to-quality relationship on the market.
  • The entire system, from the localiser to the software, has been designed and manufactured by us, without reliance upon any third-party parts or labour. This allows us to easily adapt to the needs of our customers, with constant input from our R&D department.
  • Since a company's personnel are its strongest asset when it comes to providing great customer service, your satisfaction is our top goal.

Is it profitable to install MobileFleet in my vehicles? How long will it take for the system to pay for itself?

The average return on investment point is 3 to 6 months for almost all of our customers. Just by monitoring idling times and off-hours usage, you can save up to 25€ per vehicle each month.

How does MobileFleet work?

The system consists of a small GPS localizer, or “black box”, installed in the vehicle in an out-of-view location. It sends out information regarding location, speed, etc. from the vehicle at a programmed time interval. Since the localizer has a mobile phone SIM card inside, this information is sent via GPRS and stored on a server. This server can be accessed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year via the Internet, either from a PC or from any mobile phone. Each customer is given an exclulsive access key.

Specific applications are available for the iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Palm, Windows Mobile, and J2ME.

There are also peripheral accessories available which can be connected to the localizer, adapting the service to the needs of particular industries: temperature sensors, open door alerts, panic buttons, engine shut-off switches, etc.

Can I install the localizer myself?

Yes, many customers install the localizer using their own resources. MobileFleet comes with an installation manual, as well as free technical support, available with a simple phone call or Internet request.

Is it legal to monitor my employees? Do I need to inform them?

Yes, it is completely legal. However, according to article 5 of Spain's Personal Information Protection Law, you are also required to inform employees. Employees must be informed in advance, or else informed within a period of 3 months following installation. Written documentation should be maintained showing that this information has been given.
We have information forms available upon request, which can be signed by the employees.

How often are the maps updated?

We use the latest official Google maps. We receive frequent updates, although it is also possible that in some geographical areas these updates will be less frequent.

The photos in the Street View service are less than one year old.
